Why We Started Wearliss

This one started with a feeling. A small, specific, quietly persistent feeling that something was missing — and that it had been missing for a long time.
The Moment That Started Everything
Weddings are one of the most photographed moments in a person's life. Every detail is considered. The dress. The flowers. The venue. The table settings. The shoes that will be kicked off by 9pm but still matter.
And yet, when we looked at the wedding nail market — really looked at it — we found the same thing everywhere. Sheer pink. Pearl white. A sprinkle of rhinestones. The same five designs, repeated endlessly, as if every bride wanted the same thing.
They don't.
Some brides want something dark and dramatic. Some want something warm and romantic. Some want something that feels personal — a small detail that belongs to them specifically, not to the generic idea of what a wedding is supposed to look like.
And almost none of them wanted to book a salon appointment six weeks in advance, spend $120, and sit in a chair for two hours hoping the result was worth it.
We kept thinking: there has to be a better way.

We started with weddings because it's the most concentrated version of that idea — a single day where every detail counts and your hands are in every frame. But the truth is that the same feeling applies to a lot of moments.

What Makes Us Different

Every Wearliss set is designed with fit as the first priority — because a nail that doesn't fit properly doesn't look real, no matter how beautiful the design is. We include multiple sizes in every set because we know that real hands don't come in one size.
We design for the brides who don't see themselves in the standard options. The ones who want something darker, something warmer, something with a little more personality than sheer pink and pearls.
And we design something that's ours — the Wearliss Bliss Petal, our signature flower motif made from four almond nail shapes. It appears on the ring finger of our signature sets as a small, personal detail. Something that says Wearliss without saying anything at all.
The Name
Wearliss comes from two words: wear and bliss.
We chose it because that's what we want for the person who opens one of our boxes. Not just beautiful nails. A feeling. The specific feeling of looking down at your hands and thinking — yes. This is exactly right.
